FuseFactory was established in 2015, and has since grown to become a fully-geared strategic and marketing performance company. Our aim is to fill the gap in the market by providing companies with the needed support for digital transformation. We understand your company through deep insights and can build the connections needed for your company’s growth.


The Fuse Factory team boasts award-winning individuals. In 2009, Christi was awarded a Gold Pendoring Award for the ABSA Aardklop campaign, and our Digital Director, Jacqui, has won various awards which include a Khuza Award in August 2011 for outstanding youth marketing communication in Online and a Bronze Bookmark Award in 2011. We aspire to be the best at what we do, constantly striving to be ahead of the curve to provide our clients with tailored solutions for their business success.

Having started out as purely a Social Media Agency, we have since evolved into a full-service marketing performance company and offer Strategic Marketing, Branding, Brand Architecture, Advertising, Social Media and Multimedia services, all in-house.

Jacqui Rees

With over 15 years experience, her passion for the Internet runs deep. Having worked both locally and internationally, Jacqui's deep understanding of people and behaviours drives her mantra of purpose and passion!

She was head of Social Media at Trudon and was responsible for Social Media Strategy and Optimization of the Yellow Pages site, which is now placed in the top 25 media brands in South Africa on Facebook. Through these diverse experiences, she has developed key insights into engaging with customers, providing exceptional value and uniquely tying it back to “listening to the user”.

As keynote speaker at numerous Social Media events, she introduced the first Facebook social directory mall in Africa and has been leading the F-commerce drive.

Her awards include the Bronze Bookmark Award for the Yellow Pages strategy, as well as the Khuza Award for CitySearch SA.

Jacqui was the Corporate and Communications Specialist at 3M and was responsible for the digital footprint of 3M South Africa.

Michael Scroope
Managing Director

With over 30 years experience, Michael possesses a BA, a Diploma in Marketing Management and an MBA.

Michael was a Senior Strategic Marketing Manager at Nedbank.

He was a Strategy Consultant at Acuity as well as a Marketer at SA druggists.

Genna Azzie
Sales and Operations Manager

With over 13 years experience in sales, Genna could sell honey to a bee.

She was the Assistant Manager at Optical Sales.

She was also a Finance Controller at Trudon.

She also went on to do display advertising.

Christi de Jager
Digital Creative and Creative Lead

Christi possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Design and Visual Communications from North-West University, as well as a B-Com Degree in Marketing Management Sciences from IMM Graduate School of Marketing.

With over 11 years of experience in Graphic Design and Communications, digital creativity runs through her veins.

Christi was Marketing Assistant at Dacar Motor Corporation. She then worked her way to the top as Head of Creative at the Print Box, where she was responsible for conceptualising, planning and implementing marketing strategy and marketing plans.

Last but not least, she was a part-time Graphic Design Lecturer at Vega School of Design in Randburg.

Gabrielle Burrows
Social Media Manager

Gaby has many years experience in the Social Media space and has a Public Relations and Image Management qualification.

Gaby eats, breathes and lives for Social Media and its innovative changes.

She was a Graphic Designer, Web Designer and Event Co-ordinator at Miella Productions.

She went on to work at Leads Machine.

Emma Wilson
AdWords Specialist

With a BCom Marketing Management and a Human Resource Management Diploma from the University of the Witwatersrand, her love for digital is evident.

She was a Manager at Oxysun, where she designed and created websites and the business's working templates, as well as designing and managing social media pages and marketing material.

She then went on to be an AdWords Advertiser and head of Social Media at NetAge, where she was AdWords and Social Media Paid Advertising Manager and Head of AdWords Interns.

Emma is Google certified.

Stephanie Hall
Social Media Manager

Steph has a Brand Strategist and Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Vega School of Brand Leadership.

She was a Project Assistant at a Social Marketing Agency where her responsibilities included creative work and reporting.

She was Key Accounts Manager and Conceptual Planner at Atomiz Marketing, where her responsibilities included recruiting, reporting, campaign conceptualisation, staff management and presentation creation.

Akhona Lunika
Social Media Manager

Akhona has a BTech in Photography from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. She was a freelance Digital Marketing Trainer for Dignify Africa.

She did Social Media Management and Search Engine Optimisation at Masslyn Media, as well as E-Commerce and Customer Relations Management. Akhona has been a Digitial Marketer for 3 years.

Tshegofatso Dhlomo
Content Creator and Copywriter

With her Journalism Diploma and Digital Brand Strategy qualification, Tshego brings great skills and adds immense value to the company.

Apart from being a blogger, Tshego was a contributing writer for EB News Daily SA and a Junior Social Media Manager for Purely Products SA.

Dylan Strang
Senior Web Developer

With qualifications in Servers, Networking and Development, Dylan started from the hardware level, working his way up to the software level, putting him in the best possible position to develop applications and sites that harness each other's strengths rather than work against each other.

With 15 years experience in the IT industry and a Member of the International Webmaster Association, Dylan ensures that all development for our clients is based on the latest international standards.

Traffic / Digital Specialist

With a long-standing passion for Digital Marketing, Mark is currently completing his studies in Marketing at IMM Graduate School of Marketing. Mark ensures that we are keeping up with the latest developments in digital technology. Mark is Google certified and has a passion for Search Engine Optimisation and AdWords.
